One of the most efficient ways to study idiom is using flashcards

How it works
You write the word on the front and the meaning on the back, using one flashcard per word. Then you’re going to revise the idiom using the Leitner Cards System: 3 boxes with flashcards which you study respectively daily, every three days and every five days.
You only revise the cards you don’t know yet or have forgotten every day. Words you do know, move one box up: you revise these ones less frequently. This way your study time decreases and you’re studying more efficiently.

A huge advantage of flashcards is that you’re already retaining information while you’re writing them. Study shows that by physically writing, your brain works harder than when you’re typing on a computer. You also create an image of the flashcard in your mind: this too will help you retain information.
Special flashcards per language
We know how boring studying idiom can get. That’s why we have tried to make it a bit more fun! Each language has its own flashcard with its own colour and watermark. That way you can distinguish them easily and there’s a bit of variation. The prices don’t differ, so you can create your own package of language flashcards.
The more you order, the greater the discount
The more you order, the greater the discount. If you order 20 packs you only pay € 1.75 per pack. With 30 packs you pay € 1.50 per pack. If you order 40 you pay € 1.25 per pack, and so on. Regardless of which designs you choose. The shipping costs are low for both the Netherlands and Belgium, regardless of the size of your order.
Amount of flashcards for idiom
We advise to use approximately 500 to 1000 flashcards per language per year, definitely if you have to study a lot of idiom.
